What are the shortest amount of hours you can work and still have an e-2 visa, and be legal. What places offer short hours so I can, um, make more time for "English parties" |

Hmmm - this came up once before:
There was a 'school' offering an E-2 visa (but NOTHING ELSE!!!!) in exchange for just a few classes/hours of telephone/internet teaching per week - something ridiculously low, like 4-6 hours/week.
I don't know any more than that - i don't know if people actually found who the company was, or the specifics. Just hope someone here can help out, or try searching other job info boards . . . good luck!!!

I don't believe that there are any restrictions as the the minimum number of hours worked. At least it is not explicitly stated in any of the information I've seen from the Ministry of Labor or Immigration. Mind you I haven't exactly gone over it with a fine toothed comb. |
