I have:

great friends,
family is still alive and kicking,
an aircon in my attractive little apartment,
no blue trucks bawling their wares in my neighbourhood,
long vacations,
money put aside,
a good job,
I'm from a democratic country with a decent standard of living and education,
I don't have to ask anybody's permission to do anything because I'm a woman,
I'm single and don't have to cope with in-laws,
and water isn't an issue. Very Happy

My friends
My family (more so now that I have 10,000km between us)
My students (most of them)
My co-workers (except for my buttmunch principal)
My hair color (well worth the 200 dollars)
My new shoes
My DVD player

That I'm fit, relatively healthy and wealthy. Have a roof over my head and regular pay cheque.

Life is pretty good.

I'm going to Nagoya this weekend to see my boyfriend. Leaving on Saturday morning and coming back on Sunday afternoon. hey, it's a short time but better than waiting until August 6th to see him. Plus, his parents are in Korea which means I finally get to spend the night with him. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is your boy amazing? Can he juggle with his feet? Speak six languages?

Life's like mayonnaise soda

And life's like bacon and ice cream

That's what life's like without you

Life's like forever becoming but
Life's forever dealing in hurt
Now life's like death without livin'
That's what life's like without you

Life's like sanskrit to a pony
I see you in my mind's eye stranglin' on your tongue
What good is knowin' such devotion
I been around, huh, I know what makes things run

What good is seeing eye chocolate
What good's a computerized nose
And what good is cancer in April
Why no good, no good at all

What good's a war without killing
What good is a rain that falls up
What good's a disease that won't hurt ya
Why no good, no good at all

What good are these thoughts that I'm thinkin'
They must be better, huh, not to be thinkin' at all
A styrofoam lover with emotions of concrete
No, not much at all

What good is life without livin'
What good is a lion that barks
You've loved a life others throw away nightly
It's not fair at all

What's good
Oh, baby what's good
What's good
What's good, not much at all

Hey baby what's good
What's good
What's good, what's good
What's good, what's good, not much at all

What's good, what's good
What's good, life's good
Life's good, life's good
But not fair at all

Quote:
I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour
but heaven knows I'm miserable now
I was looking for a job, and then I found a job
and heaven knows I'm miserable now

In my life
why do I give valuable time
to people who don't care if I live or die

Two lovers entwined pass me by
and heaven knows I'm miserable now
I was looking for a job, and then I found a job
and heaven knows I'm miserable now

In my life
why do I give valuable time
to people who don't care if I live or die

What she asked of me at the end of the day
Caligula would have blushed
"You've been the house too long" she said
and I naturally fled
