I am very interested in staying a night or weekend in a buddist temple. Can anyone suggest a contact person for this? I live in Daejeon so I would prefer a temple close to me.
Cost? What is included etc...whatever you got...give it to me Exclamation

Check out this site...
http://www.templestaykorea.net/english_main.htm

There are several temples near Daejeon. Gapsa is the nearest.
I also recommend Naesosa by the West coast. The temple is located in B(P)yunsan National park.

I'm trying to figure out where the 11 Daoist (as opposed to Buddhist) temples in Korea are...

Some clever bloke found this website:

http://www.tqg.co.kr/dao04.htm

...but that's all I've come across thus far.

Any ideas?

I don't know but I can suggest someone to ask- Dave Mason. That guy must've gone up every mountain and seen every temple and shrine in Korea while doing San Shin research. If he doesn't know he'll know who to ask. There's an email address at his website.

http://san-shin.org/index.html

You might want to ask him about the Daoist Azure Crane village.

musangsa, near sodeajon, is half up a mountain and surrounded by nature (paths and streams, big old trees, wildlife)
