| I need to get a tourist visa for Vietnam, which is going to necessitate a trip to the embassy in Seoul. Only problem is that it doesn't show up on any of the eight or so city maps I've got lying around... I've got the address (somewhere in Jongro-Gu), but we all know how useful a Korean address sans map is... Has anybody been there? |

| Try a search on "Vietnam Embassy in Seoul". Actually I just did it. www.travel2saigon.com/embassy-abroad.html The phone number is there. 734-7948. They could tell you where it is? 28-58 Samchong-dong Chongno. |

It's near Kyongbok palace. You take the road that runs parallel to Kyongbok palace where all the posh galleries are (Hyundai, Kukjae etc) and where the French Culture center used to be. Are you with me? Get to the end of that road and turn right up a steep hill. That's Sanchon-dong, that area. It's about 15 minute walk up the hill and you'll find the embassy on the right in a steep sloping side road. Alternatively, take a taxi? |

| Um, try WithUs Travel in the lane way beside the YMCA in Seoul. They advertise in the Korean English newspapers. They specialize in Vietnam travel. |

DO NOT GET A VISA FROM THIS PLACE.
They tried raping me on the price of a visa today. They wanted 170.000 and yesterday on the phone they told me the regular price of 90.000. Thankfully, I did not get my plane ticket yet and will just get my visa in Phenom Phen. |
