Have to visit a school near Yangpyeong [] in Gyeonggi.

We are nowhere near there, but figure it's easiest if we go there via Kangnam Express Bus Terminal or Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, as we are south of Seoul.

Which terminal is it best to go from?
How long does the bus take to Yangpyeong?
How often do buses go?

How about coming back to Seoul? How often do buses go from Yangpyeong and how long does it take?

You can get a bus from Dong Seoul terminal, around 45, 50 minutes. Seemed to be filled with commuters when I went on a friday evening.

From my experience, I would avoid the bus, and go with the train. It's getting into vacation time and Yongpyeong is a big destination for college groups (what do they call it, "leadership training" or something like that?). The time I took the bus it took almost 3 hours from the bus terminal at Sangbon (sp?), whereas the train is less than an hour.

I always prefer to take the train, but I am an hour's train ride south of Seoul station to begin with, so getting to Cheongnyangni (sp?) will take at least two hours.

That's why it makes better sense for me and co-teacher to head north or east to Kangnam or Dong Seoul respectively and go from there.
I hate taking the bus, but on this day I'll just have to deal with it.

I went by train but was fairly uninitiated at the time and got the wrong one. Took 1.5 hours. So, make sure you get the right train.
