I found some info here, but it's pretty old. Just checking to see if anyone has any current info.

I'm wondering about the process for getting an F-3 for the Chinese spouse of a UK citizen who is on an E-2. Both are already in Korea. They're getting the run-around from all offices involved.

Thanks in advance for the info.

I don't think I understand the question.

There is a couple. Both have E-2. Ethnicity is not a problem, as long as they have one of the 7 passports that are accepted to teach English. So they are British? And one of the want to have a F-3 instead? Why?

Sorry. No. He is British, on an E-2. She is Chinese, on a tourist visa. They are married. She needs an F-3 to stay in the country for the year...right? She needs the visa for the spouse of an E-2 holder. I think it's an F-3. She does not speak English well enough to teach it.

The information I found says that they needed to have done some paperwork in China before her arrival. Now, they're both here and trying to figure it out. The immigration site is not very helpful.
