Now that the city has built a great system of bike paths near my house, I'd like to get into the rollerblading craze. The problem? My feet, huge by Korean standards. Anyone know where I can get some reasonably priced blades for size 300 feet?
Also, any recommendations as to what I should buy? I know very little about the sport.
Thanks |

Good luck! I can't even find shoes half the time and I'm a measly Ladies 245.

I would suggest going to a brand store - nike or something like that - if you have to order them in your size and wait. Either that or go to Itaewon and see if you can find them. Another option is to latch on to your nearest g.i. and ask him to buy it from the px. |

There is a good Rollerblade store at the Olympic Park subway station. The man is very friendly, speaks English, and will order your size. I paid 170,000 won I think for the blades, and a bag of pads. I didn't buy a helmet so not sure if they would fit but Koreans have big heads, you could probably find one to fit. There is a little square outside of the store (Burger King, Subway) and you can try out the rollerblades there. |
