Anyone know any internet sites that show prices, availability and timetables of trains and busses?

It doesn't show availability, but
Tour2Korea is one of the more thorough sites out there.

you can check all the possible ways to travel pretty much anywhere in the country from there.

You can check out the availability and running times of the trains (and make online reservations as well) at http://english.barota.com
