Just came across this in the dairy section of the local supermarket:
"ESL Milk"
I have no idea why this brand name was chosen.
I drank some and immediately felt like I could speak better English as a Second Language.

Side note: a friend of a friend that works as a Korean milk tester said she doesn't drink the milk here after all the chemicals put in the stuff.
Sure, it's second news but it makes you wonder . . . . and as a former dairy state cheesehead, I'd say Korean milk is the foulest I've ever tasted.

And during my jaunts in the countryside, I've noticed that the sanitation of the dairy farms are extremely bad. Culture diferrence, I guess.

I wouldn't have guessed that Korea is the best place to find quality milk, considering that most Koreans are lactose intollerant!

I wonder if I can bring a dairy cow on the plane with me...

esl milk smells and tastes a damn sight better than seoul milk, but i applaud all who don't drink the milk because of "all the chemicals in it". we'd never put chemicals in our food products back home in oz. Rolling Eyes Wink

I'm going to buy a whole truckload of that milk, set up a booth somewhere (preferably blocking traffic), hire some dancing girls, and tell all the nieghborhood ajumas that by "drinking this milk will improve your child's TOEIC score 200 points!"

I've never tried the ESL milk but the CoolPis fruit juice is great! I'm thinking of making my own. Laughing
