You can see on efl-law that they have a plan to challenge the 'Letter of Release' that appears here almost every other day in some form or other - be good if it succeeded in more ways than one - but knowing Korea as I do, it will be a Battle Royal as the hogwan lobby would hate to lose this weapon - they would have no control at all over teachers they are so use to manipulating: mmm.. makes you wonder actually...

Donate what you can afford. It will benefit all in the future should it prove sucessful. What's 20.000 Won? Small change for something positive. Remember, it could be you that this affects. |

I've used EFL Law twice and have been very happy with their prompt response and advice so I'm more than happy to chip in |

Very interesting project. I think all those people who have bellyached for unions for years should put their money where their mouths are and support this.
They're asking for 20,000w~50,000w per person in donations. If people are unwilling to do that, how likely is it that hogwon employees would ever be willing to pay union dues?
I don't know much about this EFL-Law bunch - I've seen their ads - but from browsing their site it looks like they do great work. |

I've asked EFL-law about a few things and they were great. Really trying to help. I'll be donating. |

Hey l-t-p - the search engine is your friend:

Although your title was better than mine.
This idea is probably better suited for the teaching community in Korea than a union - no committment, no risk, and a low one-time fee. And I mean that in a good way, not a sarcastic one. |

He also posted it three days before you. You may wish to make use of that search engine you speak highly of. |
