The monitor is practically new, paid 575$ for it, I just upgraded the computer for 140,000 the burner is fairly new for 110, the upgrade of ram is brand new for another 50. Gotthe video card over the summer for just over 100 bucks. I'm willing to take suggestions if it's too much, but the monitor is what I'm stuck on, it;s worth alot and I still technically owe a friend for it.
Either way you're getting an essentially brand new computer with a monitor for a very good deal

How old was the computer (case, fans, keyboard, mouse, etc.) prior to all the upgrades?
What sort of software -- XP or other operating system, etc. -- is on the computer (and do you have the backup disks)?
Is there something unusual about the monitor? I saw a Samsung 19" LCD monitor for about 425,000 at Carrefour last week -- is this somehow different and better?
What sort of speakers does it include? |

All software wil be included - windows xp, microsoft office (they aren't entirely legal......) The case is new, (July) with a new power supply. Key board isn't new, you might want to replace that one... The speakers I wanted to keep actually (I'm switching to a MAC). Optical mouse. Cheap webcam and any aoftware I have
The monitor, if you want to check it out is a Samsung Syncmaster 930B. 8ms response time, 19".

What kind of MAC are you going to get?
You may be able to use your LCD monitor with it. Even the new MacbookPro that was just released has an LCD(DVI) input. Most new MAC desktops should be able to support the monitor, I think.
Unless, of course, you are getting one of the iMacs and don't need a separate screen.
