Where is Pyongyang, is it in South Korea? Is it true that immigration have no jurisdiction there? Is it a "safe" city for teaching privates?

The guy is responding to one of my posts where I reccomended Pyongyang as a good safe place to teach privates. Yes, immigration doesnt have jurisdiction there and its a clean city, with little traffic. Go for it.

Isn't it possible he does not know where Pyeongyang is?

I wouldn't teach privates there because they could not afford me.

You can teach privates in Pyongyang dude...no worries..

You will have no competition either..nice move my man.

Oh by the way did you ever see a map of the world in your life? Perhaps you should check those out...they are the things that show you what exists outside your nation or city....
Then again you could have typed Pyongyang in google and seen what "privates" you could be teaching there....good luck buddy

There are several foreigners teaching privates in North Korea. Mind you, they have no other choice, as they were kidnapped from the beaches of Japan or former diplomats.

The pay is lousy and so is the food.

Most maps I've seen here just have one country called 'Korea' with no border and it looks like Pyongyang is a nice little city a little ways north of Seoul...That reminds me of the first time I tried drawing a map of Korea in one of my classes long ago. I drew a bean-shaped country with Seoul right near the top and Busan at the bottom, but my student crossed it out and drew an hourglass shaped country with a big spike through the middle instead.
That's caused me to wonder...what were West Germans like before the fall of the wall? I was only 10 when it happened so I never had the chance to think about it. Did they act the same way, treating the other side as their own country even though there was no way in hell they would be able to get there?
