I want to sell the camera because I want to do some long travels, and despite its beauty, it is also quite heavy.
I have a 4gig Hitachi microdrive that makes it really useful, as in I can do almost 1hour of high quality video,
and something like 4000 high res pics!!! That alone I paid over 400000won.
Also, there is a nice camera bag (Sony), spare battery, and filter.
A great deal for 700000won, OBO
New it is worth 1200USD, no microdrive or spare battery.
This is a camera for serious photographers.

but anyone who has done their homework would buy the Sony DSC R1 (same price 795,000 won) which replaced the now obsolete DSC F828. The R1 has gotten some great reviews and is a large improvement over the 828.

Interesting (and sad) that there is no movie recording feature with the new Sony. I wonder if they are concerned that it will eat into their sales of 3:2 video recording stuff. Maybe the prospects just looked too good to allow in a camera?

My DSC H1 has video recording.

I'm still learning my way around it- but so far, so good.
