Nice lookin' bike. I thought it was one of those crappy Daelims with the ugly design.

Where are you in Seoul? Would like to see it in person and do a test spin to see how it handles. Have ridden in the past.

If you never registered it, and say I purchased it... how would that work? Would I be paying back taxes or something? Additionally... can you arrange delivery outside of Seoul?

I dont think there are any taxes. I dunno to be honest. I think the only problem ive ever heard of, is if the person racks up a pile of fines.

The guy I bought it from left his insurance on it. I think it expired in October. Been sitting since then. I could arrange delivery I beleive. I can fumble my way through a Korean Convo with the local autobike shop.

Hi. Idea

I'm interested in your bike. What's your cell phone number (and I'll give you a call)? I'm in Gunsan City, down the coast a ways. The bike looks good for local jaunts, and checking out the Korean countryside, etc. Thanks - James - Email: [email protected] (MSN)

Is it necessary to get a Korean driver's license? How hard is it to do?

I havent had a license since I have been here. Never registered either.

Couldnt help you there. Been stopped 3 times, driven through numerous road checks and gotten waved through.

I ehard its not hard to get a Korean license, but Ive rarely had an E2 to fall back on. Hope that helps, try a search, probably come up with somethign on licenses.

Yeah, sounds good, just what I'm looking for. Can you get back to me [PM] with a new photo, also any info on how the heck I could get it here (I'm about 30km west of Danjin, 3 hrs. SW of Seoul).

I just got in-country, so any help registering etc, would be cool. I do have an International d/l. Plus an E-2.

Cheers,

~ smw

Hey all,

Heres the deal for all those who have emailed me. I am getting the bike all hooked up, but as a result, I have to bump the price 100k.

Askin 650. I just dumped 180k into it. I didnt have to. It was perfectly functional, but it was recommended. I didnt want to shaft anyone. They said that as is it was good for another 5-7000kms, but with the head rebuilt, its good for another 20k.

I dont know about shipping. You would have to figure that out on your own. Im crunched for time, and dont have the Korean connection(ie GF) like I used to, to set up those sorts of things.

Its a money ride, fired up on my second kick after sitting all winter.

Since I bought it, dumped 380k in it. Gonna be running sweet, looks great as well, shiney red and ready.
