Also try www.koreaherald.com for apartments. It's really good.
I know a certain female looking for a room to rent there, but she only wants to stay maybe 6 months, and doesn't have any key money to put down. |

A word of caution about those oneroom websites, of which there are several.
I went and visited a realtor that had posted a pretty attractive place (though still small) on the website for a reasonable price and the first thing he said when he met me was, "the website was kind of advertisement. Please forget everything." Sure enough, when he showed me the "real pictures." It was not nearly what the place in the ad was.
Aside from lying in the advertisement, he turned out to be okay.
But, I'm still looking for a place and having a bit of a hard time with it.
So, yeah, just a word of caution that those online realtor sites have a lot of fake ads, just trying to get people to come see them in person. A friend of mine (married to a Korean even) just found a new place and had the exact same problem. |

True that.
It's not like it cost me anything just to go to the ofice, so I can't complain too much.
In fact, afterwards, I called a friend that lives in the neighborhood and we decided to go to a jimjilbang (first time for the both of us). So, I'm glad I went! |

Holy crap. I only wish even half of the posters here had that outlook on life and the problems it throws at us. Extremely good way of looking at life and a small problem |
