Has anyone out there tried coming to Japan (F-u-k-u-o-k-a) on a one way ticket and then taken the ferry to Busan?
I mean, is it possible to fly from Canada to Japan on a one way ticket? Thus avoiding the need to buy a return ticket from Canada to Korea and back again.
Return tickets are expensive and since I will not get reimbursed for my last one, I don't want to do that again.
Anyone tried this?
Thanks in advance. |

Return tickets are cheaper than 2 one-ways. Plus the security of having a return ticket available is worth it. If you get stuck in a bad situation - no pay etc... then a prepaid return ticket is defineately worht the peace of mind. |

Return tickets may be cheaper, but only if you can use them.
When I came, I paid my own way to find my own job. Thus the school felt no obligation to pay me for coming to Korea. Since it took me more than a month to find a job, the return part of my ticket will be expired before my contract finishes. (you can only have a return for a 1 year period) This means that I will have to buy an additional one way just to leave! Yes, I feel stupid, but it's too late to change it now.
The school is supposed to buy my return ticket, but the way things are going now, I doubt very much that I can count on it.
