I have a 40g 4gen ipod. It's not a video ipod or anything like that (color and video ipods came out, like, a few weeks after I bought mine grrrrr).
I've had a rocky relationship with my ipod from the beginning. Overall I'm happy... I guess... but not totally happy. It does its job well, but I feel rather constrained with its lack of features like audio recording, etc.
With summer coming I want to buy a smaller flash player I can wear around my neck for commuting, or on an armband for exercising. About 75% of my music library is in the ipod format (not mp3). It seems natural to go with a Nano, but given my frustrations with my bigger ipod I'd like to at least consider other (Cheaper) options.
Since my music is already in the ipod format (mp4 I think, right?), am I pretty much forced to stick with ipod, or can I convert it all to mp3?
Anyone have anything they recommend? |
