Hey, I'm due for a new Powerbook and so am looking to get rid of my old one (its about 2 and a half years old). It's still working fine, just running a little slow for my needs.
Here are the specs:
* 867MHz
* 640mb ram (the maximum on this model)
* 40gb HD
* Superdrive (CD & DVD burner)
No OSX discs or extras, unfortunately. Just the computer, power cord and mouse. The body is in pretty good shape, with no major scratches or anything. No dead pixels on the screen.
It's loaded with all kind of software (MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Express, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, etc). Don't ask where I got it all from, because I can't remember all of the details.
Perfect machine for watching DVDs, web surfing, writing documents, photoshopping, graphic design work, etc. Runs a bit slow for video editing is the only real limitation.
500,000 won firm price. |

Hi. Where are you located? How long does the battery last on the PB? Airport? Photos?
Cheers,

I'm also interested to know if it has built-in airport and bluetooth cards. Also, is it correct to assume that it's 15 inches? |

Hi, I'm located near Dongdaemun (Sinseol-Dong Station, line #2 exit 10).
This is the 12" model.
Yes, it has the Airport Extreme card (hi speed wifi connections -- very cool). Bluetooth as well, though I've never used that feature.
I use the notebook plugged in 99% of the time so can't say exactly how long the battery lasts. Unplugged, 15 minutes of use will take it down to about 90% capacity or so (90% charge, not 90% used, eh?). If you want me to guestimate I'd say you should expect about an hour's use with a fully-charged battery.
FYI, last I checked (in March) this model was being sold used at the Softmap Store in Osaka for 90,000 (KRW 850,000). On eBay probably even cheaper. But as for Powerbooks in Dongdaemun, this price can't be beat!

I'm guessing it's the 12" PB (640MB RAM is the giveaway). I'm definitely interested; can I see some pics?
Cheers,

Oh yeah, I should also mention another limitation: there is no USB 2.0 (this model predated that). High-speed connections must go via firewire.
You can still use USB 2.0 devices, but they will run slower. For example, I link my video iPod via the USB 1.0 port. 100mb of songs will take about 90 seconds -- still not bad.
