I've been looking at boat trips to China (for a quick vacation) but have only found schedules. Does anybody know the costs. I'll probably call the numbers listed only if I get desparate. |

Weihai is the first choice. Other nearby areas, too. Just want to visit the country. |

If you get the info, can you post it here? I'd also be interested to find out. |

I'd be interested too. As the flights are a bit pricey at the time I want to go there. |

I tried taking the boat a couple of years ago. You catch it in Incheon. At the time they would issue Chinese visas for Koreans on or at the boat but not for western passport holders. if it's the same, you'll have to make a trip to the Chinese embassy. |

Don't go to Weihai, go to Qingdao. 125,000 or so for one bed in a 4 bed room, cheaper (maybe 90) to sleep on the floor in cattle class, more around 150 to sleep in a two bed room.
I have done it many times. if you want any other info, pm me.
Oh, and the boat to tianjin (near Beijing) is much more expensive and sells out faster, so make reservations. |
