If you want to lower the level of conversation, teach them this sort of style:

So I was all like "Whatever!", and she was like "Pfft, yeah RIGHT."

etc.

Don't forget reducation and word blends. If you teach them ' What are you doing tonight', you are doing your students no good. Because nobody ever says it like that. Let them know what it will sound like 'Whatya-doin tanight'.

You have to teach them to use "As you know..." at the beginning of every sentence, even in reference to things you don't know.

example: "As you know, Korean is the world's most scientifical language..."

Just off the top of my head. I teach uni studnets, and if I ever hear "I'm fine thankyou" or "so so" I literally take a point off thier final total. Cruel to be kind.
