my record is about 100,000 won in coins. Not from a jar though. Real men keep their coins on the floor.
right now i'm living off my coins. I'm down to the 50 wons. Looks like it's time to get a job. |

Been there...You know it's bad when you find yourself getting all excited because you happen to find a 500 won coin under the sofa...."yeah, score!...half a bottle of soju!" |

I did that the first month I was here....had maybe about 150,000 won to live off of, counted a lot of coins. Toward the end, I was ONLY using coins, and figured I could live off maybe 4500 won a day to break even by the end of the month. I don't want to do that again.
Makushi, sounds like you had one rockin' evening, drinking soju and counting coins. You bad boy! |

Uhhh well, I got started in the right direction with the soju and all, but somehow forgot about the coins...oh well..there's always tonight! |

Reminds me of my poverty days working at the youth hostel and "cleaning the couches out." Made about $50 a month. Found people's eyeglasses, contacts, passports, etc., as well. |
