For those of you need directions to get together places

Get-together: YELLOW BAR -- HongDae Area

Time: 8pm, August 9

The closest subway stop is SANG-SU, line #6 (brown line - same subway that Itaewon is on), stop #623.

When you come out of the subway, take exit 2. When you come up, look at the four corners there, see the green sign above that says "Shinchon Rotary, Hongik University" with the arrow pointing that direction. Stay on the right side of the road and walk for about 6-7 minutes. It'll look kind of quiet right here in this particular spot.

Suddenly you will see a very well lit corner with the 7-11 and Route 66 on the left side, and Boston Bar & SKA Disco on the right side. If you have been walking on the right side of the street, you will take a right at the corner of SKA/Boston bars.. and up that street you will see a sign that says "club COSMO" which is a very big sign that stretches across the street. It'll take about 2-3 minutes to walk there, and right on the right, right next to the "COSMO sign you will see YELLOW BAR.

For those of you coming to dinner at Hubble Bubble on Aug 9., here's the bar's phone number:

02)324-2422

or call Kyung Joo (one of the partners) at 017-206-3109.

A map can be seen at:

It's in Korean but easy to figure out (the right side of the map represents the Hongik main gate).

I am bringing some of the teachers at my hagwon.

Would it be fair to assume that the consumption of delicious alcoholic beverages will be encouraged, if not completely mandatory?

Because I really like the beverages.

Dominic,

As for your questions. I am going to meet up with my friends (Kate, Sour Monkey, a couple of my teachers from a hagwon in downtown Seoul and possibly ST) at the exit 6 of the Hongdae station to go out for dinner at 6:45pm. You can contact me at ~privacy protecte~, if you want to join me.

All different groups that go separate ways for dinner should converge for the get-together after dinner at 8pm at the Yellow Bar. For the directions to Yellow Bar, refer to my original post.

Okay, if you guys keep posting your cell phone numbers on a public message board where people who may not like you can see them, I'm gonna stop suggesting to the mods to save you from yourselves. Wink
