At the moment I can't stop saying "Jajingnaaahhh!!" (Its irritating/annoying).
last year I said "Ah Sahhh!" every other minute.
This is what mixing with korean kids all day does to you... |

"To Duri"
I have perverted this one to "Too Dirty", it means to complain a lot, which honestly I never, never do. Never ever, no, no, no, not me.
Ok maybe at the bakery once, when I found they'd filled a perfectly good baguette with beans.
"Madopso"- without taste or unnappealing to the palette...read Pap bing su, the atrocious concoction chef found in the toe of his sock one day. |

i've been hearing it a lot. It's like a d00d who has no bling.
also popular recently has been pye-in which is, like, a d00d who's a total loser. |

Surely everyone can already see the direction this thread'll take.
I bet the mods are in the process of preparing the warning lettters as we speak....

I've been saying "jenjang" which is basically what you'd say if stubbed your toe or were a little annoyed |

Keulsae (bad romanization): means "well,...." but could be better translated as "I really don't have any idea but I don't really want to say that....." |

"Hul!" and "Oh- moh!" are my usual expressions of surprise or amazement. I tell the kids to "shiko-ro" pretty freely as well. I can see myself saying these words long after I leave Korea.. Its a bit like the way I still say "scundered" and "banjaxed" (haven't been in Ireland for years)- and nobody knows what I'm talking about!! |
