Denz, you rock. Cleared up the computer in the office and now they think I'm a first-class geek.

I feel sorry for all the PC bangs that may have been hit.
They have their work cut out for them.

if you already have the worm, what i did....

go to a friends pc log onto msn, download a firewall e.g outpost and burn it to cd

go back to your pc pull out the internet connection so it wont shut down in 60 secs

install the firewall from disc, this will stop the 60 sec thing then connect to the net and down load the patch from msn to fix the hole....
once done just download the dewormer program from symnatec then you are free!

I got zone alarm up racing the clock. It was pretty funny. The countdown clock would say "You have 30 seconds left before the computer will shut down" and zone alarm was showing up saying "You have 28 seconds left before installation will be complete."

Kept things interesting on an otherwise dull morning.

I saw that picture a long time ago. I think I'll have to slap my knee now at how wittily and cleverly you tricked me. Rolling Eyes

here's an idea. why not spend 5 minutes a day trying to cultivate some semblance of a personality?
