Thanks again for all the help and suggestions. Whatever it is, it started about 5 years ago, in Canada. After my first very serious bout with it, I discovered the "coal-tar" ointment and my symptoms cleared up within days. I thought I had beaten it, only to have it return periodically. Usually after me taking long walks in tight clothing.
It has never been as severe as it was that first year, perhaps this is because I use the ointment as soon as I notice it coming back. Except for this year, with the high humidity here in Busan and the lack of availability of the ointment. It seems to have brought it back with a vengence. I have since gotten my mail order ointment, and so far I am feeling better. The ointment seems to be helping and I am at least able to walk around again without cringing.
I will write down the name of the medication you suggested though, for future reference and just in case.
Thanks again
