Hi, there. Frankly, I don't want others to get screwed like it happened to me so be careful and stay away from "Wilshire Korea Language School','Tangam Dong branch. I've been through real hell these couple of months and you can understand it if you read all posts by Pyonghwa. I worked for 3 years there and when it came to my severance pay it turned out to be unbelievably hard to get. The other branch at Somyon is quite different for the owner is a decent person and I've worked for him for some time.
Don't be allured by incredible promises and benefits offered by director, it's all just a mere windowdressing and at the end they will treat you as scum. Besides, the school doesn't have any curriculum and you will never have any regular classes, just class hopping with babysitting.
These days I am stuck here waiting for the court ruling regarding my case and even don't know when I will get paid... Pyonghwa |

Would that be Jake Sohn? If so, I worked for him for a few years, and although he was a bit of a lecher, he was a fair and reasonable boss. My first one in Korea, all those years ago. (If we're talking about the same guy, and you have a phone number or email for him, please PM me, pyonghwa!) |
