Okay probably a pretty dumb question but I need an answer.
I came over on Dec. 9th of 2002 so that is the entry date into the country.
However, on Dec. 5th, I had my Visa stamped into my passport (the big stamp that says E-2 on it).
As for my contract, I started working on Dec. 11th.
So, does my Visa expire on Dec. 5th or the 9th?
Also, does anyone know the fees if you do overstay by about a week?
Thanks

Have a look at the back of your Foreigner Card. It'll say there what the Date of Reckoning is.

...then, as mostly happens, you'll panic because you're visa expires before you're contract. Have you're employer sort out the required extension, usually only a few days or so, which gets written on the back of the card. Do it in good time before you leave.
