I am currently considering taking a position in Sun-chon. I just wanted to know what it was like living there.

I live just out of Suncheon (25mins) Theres a bit of a livley crowd there...all the amenities, fast food, foreigner section in the supermarket, movie theatres e.t.c . You can get a bus to Busan for a good night out which takes just over 2 hours. There are no decent night clubs and only one bar where the foreigners hang out. They have a web site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Sunchon_crowd/
the people that often post can be a bit lame so don't think they represent the whole city but it would be a good place to ask about the school you are looking to sign with. If you need to know asap send me the name of the school as it can take a day or two to get moderated for the forum there.
Cheers

Thanks for the info! Very Happy I will be working for Wonderland. The owner is an American and sounds like a real nice guy. If you have any info about the school, I would like to hear it!

I will check out that website. What about Hopkido schools? Are the young Korean people friendly and open to foreigners?

Shocked OOHhh SH*T!

That was your laptop! Embarassed

Sorry about that! I just couldnt help it. You were asking too much for it. I wasnt trying to offend anyone. I was just trying to be informative. Anyway, Im glad you sold it. I hope you brought your price down a bit for the person who bought it.

Where in NZ are you from?
