It's owned by a woman named Kwon. Limited English speaking skills. She IS a business person first. Large school. 500/600 students. Pay is on time, severance is on time. She will not hesitate to fire you if you don't do what she hires you to do and that is teach. She won't bother you otherwise. Too many classes though. 7/8 a day. She hires a lot of Canadians and other non Americans; they "seem" to work for less money, teach more classes and don't mind getting shafted. She works the korean teachers to death but that's their own fault for not standing up for themself. A few of the korea teachers are her friends and be careful what you say in the teachers room; it'll come back to haunt you. Would I work their, never. Not for the low pay and amount of classes. You need to get the best deal for yourself. She provides single housing, many dinners and get togethers for the staff. Kwon is not a bad owner compared to other school owners, just vacillates between two extremes from time to time. Again, no pay problems and on time. If she does release you for whatever reason, she gives release letters with no headaches and will help you to locate another job. She has many contacts!
