Friends,
What's the best non-Korean restaurant in Seoul?
For my money, it's pretty hard to beat Ipanema for lunch.
This is the only Brazilian restaurant in Korea. Lunch will set you back 16,000 won, which sounds obscene, I know, but it's essentially all you can eat. Salad bar, selection of soups, Japanese noodles, endless offerings of charbroiled beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, followed up by ice-cream, fruit, and coffee . . .
Make this the main meal of your day and you will not be hurting!
Much as I love my Ipanema, and a select joint or two in Itaewon, I can't help but wonder whether there's anything better on offer out there.
What is YOUR favorite non-Korean restaurant?

Try the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel! The food is wonderful, though wonderfully expensive (dinner can set you back a couple hundred thousand KRW for one), but you would have difficulty finding a "better" restaurant in Korea. Granted, it can be done for much cheaper, but spoiling yourself every great while is not such a bad thing.
Truth be told, the idea of stating the "best" restaurant is nonsense, because we all have different tastes and ideas of what makes a great dining experience. |

You know, I'm glad she said it first so **I** didn't have to!
For real, my choice would be Bennigan's, a few steps up from BK. |

Ganga - Seoul Financial Center Building branch - has far superior Indian food, though even more expensive than Taj Mahal and Moghul in Itaewon.
Ganga's English website is here:

I second that. Love Thai Orchid and Thai food in general. Even bad Thai food is better than none. |

Ali Baba is good. But my favorite non-korean restaurant is Paris Grill at Hyatt Regency. And Baek Jo at Hotel Intercontinental is the best all-you- can-eat spot in Seoul. |
