Look! Only cavemen use Win98. The technology is as outdated as you can get.

If you don�t want to run XP, 2000Pro is your best bet. If set up right, it�s a solid system. But� It�s actually really similar to XP except for the look. If you just don�t like the look of XP, you can change it to look and work like basic Windows.

My university uses windows '98 computers, but get this our computers have flat screens. Would rather they had invested in the license for xp than buy us new monitors.

It's a computer, not a way to compete with my nerd friends by seeing who has the latest and greatest.

And I have been using XP, which has been pleasantly non-crashy. And since I've been keeping it from running off to tell Microsoft about everytime I go poop, it hasnt been annoying me.
