Well, your post is quite old. Those days are gone. EPIK has flooded even the countryside with foriegners. I can recall being in a semi rural place of 100,000 people or so in 2007-2008ish and getting that kind of celebrity treatment. But now the place has lots of foriegners and going back in 2011 for a visit or even to smaller towns nearby, the kids don't even blink an eye.
