You have to ask????

Not sure about the exact details, but if she demanded "no glove, no love" wouldn't that constitute rape in North America?

That "no glove, no love = rape" is one of the points I'm having trouble here. If she indeed said "no glove, no love", it would most likely constitute rape in the US. Don't know about Korea or Japan, though (where did this happen, exactly? Still not clear on that)

But if she didn't specifically say "no" after he refused to use the condom, we're not talking about rape.

Corporal, I see your point and I'm not arguing that this girl didn't make a mistake. The OP asked if we thought this crossed the line. I think it did. I felt that your initial response implied that, because the girl wasn't very smart and unwisely chose to go to the guys house in the first place, that you felt this did NOT cross the line.

Oh I should add, this thread also reminds me of all those so called GI Rapes in Okinawa. They aren't really AMERICN GI RAPES at random, they are usually black city youth that didn't have anything going for them in life and no capabilities if you gave them a million dollars so they took advantage of the Army and joined, they get stationed there. And of course there's these total moron rare selection of girls, pretty much waste of human life that do stuff like get excessive tans and pretty much hate EVERYONE except their so called "boyfriend," pretty much mad-at-the-world types of girls. And then the stupid asses have a dispute, he roughs her around, some screaming and hollaring and what do you know Time Magazine is on the scene again. Both the girl and the guy are just verment, why does it have to be "US Serviceman Rapes 'Japanese National.'" Bahaha... More like "filth trash have yet another shoving match and make EVERYONE look bad in the process." Yah I know some of you are going to say "that's so racist" but hey it's the truth. Only in your head do you see racism. If you don't believe it look it up do your research.

Yeah, animal blacks and stupid asian girls, "filth trash have yet another shoving match. . ." "Both the girl and the guy are just verment. . ."

Heaven forbid anyone think that this is racism. And "just verment"- are they from Vermont? Are they fermented? Fermented Vermont? Maple sugar wine? Sorry, my dictionary is no help with that one- but I bet if you could spell, it would not be a nice word.

The only good thing to be said to your being on this board is that it reminds us of what some peope really think, when they have no interest in the opinion of others. Hatred is a very sad and ugly thing, and I hope that someday you get yours under control.

Well, no problems with that. But then I guess I missed the point of even posting this story in the first place, because I highly doubt anyone was planning on taking the guy's side. What was the OP looking for? "Oh yes, that was a terrible thing to have happened, shame on the horrible fellow," etc. etc. It came across just a little too breathlessly gossipy. We know there are rapists and mean people out there. So what? Everyone be careful and suspicious of black American dudes for a while? Sheesh.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. When you develop another one, feel free to let us know.

And I agree with Corpral.

So write that down in your diaries.

Japanese porn has taught me that forcing one's self on a Japanese woman is expected and encouraged. But this thread says that such an action is wrong. Now I'm confused.

Sounds like perfectly normal consensual sex to me. No one was forced to do anything. "Request" to use a rubber was duly turned down. If she was dumb enough to give in anyway, then oh well...

There is no "victim" in this case.

Sure the guy is an ass, but hey...aren't we all sometimes.

Bollocks bollocks the purest of bollocks.

She wanted sex, no question about it. She wanted him to wear a condom, he didn't, she did him anyway. Did he rape her? If not, then she let him do her without a condom. End of story.

As i say: responsibility for yourself and others its whats grotesquely lacking. She may have been stupid, but just cos you manage to get a silly inexperienced gal in the sack, doesn't mean you should take unprotected advantage, just cos you can.
The guy is obviously an A- grade sleazy predator who needs to made a eunuch. i wonder if the girl has a chance in court of pressing rape charges against the M.F.

That would depend on whether or not he raped her.

I'm not saying he's a good guy, I'm just saying she is equally to blame, and a fool.

In this day and age, you have to be stupid to not use a condom during a one-night stand. Maybe the girl in her utter naivety thought she had found a boyfriend. Maybe she was looking for "buddy" and he wanted something with less of a, um, commitment. It was really stupid the guy didn't use a condom, especially if SHE ASKED HIM TO.
I don't know if you meant took her virginity when you said took advantage of her innocence, but at least by an American standard, not using a condom when someone asks you to is kind of like juggling a bottle of acid, is it not? Shouldn't you thin, mybe there is a reason she asked me? Whether the girl just wants some respect or doesn't want to give you a STD, if guy is asked, he should comply. He's stupid not to.

Are some guys animals? Yes, admittedly. What is your point?

Are some women b*tches? Yep. No point here either.

My judgement about the two people in the original post:
a) He's a sleaze ball.
b) She's a fool.
