Well I've been in Ilsan a week, near Juyeop station (second last on line 3), and miss my two favorite American chains. Anyone know where they might be, not too far I hope?

Starbucks in Myng-dong- among other places. Subway in Itaewon & Jongro.

I would recommend Schlotzsky's Deli in Itaewon. Careful! It's very addictive!

There is a subway near Jeongbalsan station. It is a little difficult to see. It is inside a 'Holly's Coffee' shop. Just walk towards Carrefour, and you will see it. It is very close to a KFC and McDonalds.

I know there are lots of Starbucks in Korea, but near Juyeop...I dunno. Definitely close to Hwajeong station, there are a few. It is 5 stations away from Juyeop.

Thanks for the replies. I know about Seoul, but Ilsan is new to me. Went to that new shopping complex near Jung bal san (Lafesta) the other day, pretty impressive for Korea, reminded me of Japan. Didn't see the Starbucks or Subway there though.
