As Moosehead suggested, there is a need for a new thread to discuss the pros and cons of the various different training options out their for TEFL/TESL/TESOL training. So, let this thread replace the Online Quickie TEFL, i.e. "..." thread that Moosehead started since it has more than outlived its life. Obviously with more than 11,000 hits during the time that it was in the top levels of the forum, it is a topic that deserves to be discussed. However, please don't follow the suggestion of Soju Pizza and make it a sticky.

Just give it an opportunity to grow for the knowledge part. If you have questions regarding how professional training will affect your teaching position in Korea and other places, ask questions, and answers will be given.
