Alright I'm really showing the green behind my ears on this one.
What constitutes a good resume here in Korea?
What types of things do they look for?
Turn offs?
What exactly is a cover letter?
What type of photo should I send out, me in a suit lookin' serious, or more casual photo?
Poke fun, go ahead, it's alright, but I want to do this whole thing the best I can.
Thanks |

Hamish posted a pretty good outline of an ESL resume on the international jobs newbie forum.

It worked for us. You can check out our resume at

We used cropped wedding pictures for ours, but we were told more professional pictures with ties would be better, especially in Japan. In Korea I'm not sure how important it is, but I'd imagine it would be best.
We applied to a few jobs, but then started posting ads on daves and a few other places with a link to our website and we got a lot of offers from recruiters. |
