I'll reciprocate when it's o-deang and deokboki night 
Just kidding. Trying to pay for ajushis and ajummas is almost impossible. I've tried every time, first offering to pay then suggesting at least a contribution. They almost seem insulted. I'm their teacher, and they consider it their obligation to pay. However, I will likely buy them some kind of gift instead. |

Ahhh. . . You have to fight for it. Just try to outmuscle them and get your cash to the people in charge (don't offer to chip in with the people you're eating with). You won't often be succesful but that's what Koreans generally do. |
