I was supposed to leave a cold Korea and come to a somewhat warmer California. Somehow it ended up being the opposite. Today it was more chilly than the last 2 weeks I was in Korea. The weather is definitly a bit screwy this Fall in kimchiland.

It is all normal really. The first cool wave of air was a bit cooler than usual and this came after a very warm start to october. The weather is plain wonderful, and who ever said Korea was a cold climate country, doesn't really know about cold weather. Enjoy, is the way it should be.

I'm getting rather annoyed with mosquitos in November though.

*shakes fist at the sky. Snow dammit!*

you're kidding right???? Very Happy

first snow always gets me bummed out. This year though I hope to be away from much of the cold, Xmas and part of Jan in Texas and Fla, back here for a couple of days then the rest of the winter break in someplace warm like Boracay or Thailand.

Hey I missed most of the rainy season this year now hope to miss most of winter, not a bad way to go huh Wink

BTW its warmer here than in Dallas Texas right now.

I drive to work so snow can bite me. I am probably one of the few Canadians that wish SNOW to never exist again.

About the mosquitos, man oh man, lil buggers get me EVERY night. I think it is the only thing that bugs me more than Korean drivers - 10month mosquito season Twisted Evil

It's sunny and 25 degrees here in Japan as well.

It gets a little nippy at night though.

No pun intended!

No complaints here either except the immortal mosquito that feeds on my ankles after dark while I type. Don't they all die at some point? The last two nights it hasn't bit me but it's buzzed me. I just caught sight of it reflecting the light from my screen as it flies down from somewhere above and behind me and disappears behind my monitor.

Went to sleep and woke up with twelve-yeah twelve bites on my face of all places! I'm tired of explaining it to the kids and have to wear make up every day. Sad

Anther great thing about living in Seoul.....I DO NOT miss digging out my car from the compacted snow banks that the plow on the road and the mini-plow on the sidewalks put all over it.

No.

Tell me about it. Last time I had to shovel anything colourless was in Toronto, Canada after 2 yards of snow fell in a week. This is notable because the city called in the army for help-just in case while nearby Buffalo and points north get snow by the yard a few times every winter without needing the army. I used to enjoy a bit of early morning shovelling excercise but digging a 15 foot path to the street from that pile just so I could access the world killed that joy. All I need is a white xmas week. Then melt!

CLG, if you ever decide to go to Montreal for school there's something you should know....

It's cryogenically frozen for 3 months of the year.
