Thanks so much for the info. Much appreciated. No word on the Olympic VI release yet huh?
I guess I will check itsshoestime.com and hoop city twitter feed for the info.
Once again thanks guys! |
So far I haven't heard anything about the VI release here but personally i'm more looking forward to the USA pack (180s and Air More Uptempos to be specific).
Hoop City tends to get the largest quantity with new Jordan/Nike releases but from my experience, just about all the workers there aren't the most friendly. |

Yes! Air More uptempos are amazing. I wouldn't mind obtaining those as well. My Infrared VI's from 2001 started to crumble at the sole. So I would really love to get the Olympics. As far as the workers at Hoop City, they remind me a lot of the workers at Supreme or HUF (any other boutique back home really) they must get the same questions over and over again and they feel so entitled because they work their and blah blah blah. In any case I have been getting more solid information from here than anywhere else. Thanks for all the info guys! Much appreciated! |

Anybody watch the nba.tv Dream Team documentary yet? So good.
Olympic VI and the rest of the Olympic Pack will likely be extremely difficult to get--line-up and raffle I would imagine.
Anybody down to meet up for drinks some time? |

What I loved about living in Korea; there was a shoe dry cleaning shop just around the corner. Got all my shoes done at least once every month or so.
Very nice. Wish we had that here |

I don't think the VI's and the 4 pack will be raffled, just the VI/VII Gold Medal Pack. It's pretty eerie how quiet it's been with the lack of release information for Korea.... |

Although Hoop City and Niketown Itaewon get the most/newest shoes, a lot of times the second-tier stores such as Jongno or Konkuk University will get these releases too but usually at a later time. |

happiness--I've met some locals who are REALLY into sneakers- mostly at a couple different sneaker events/parties.
Personally, I don't think its too hard to spot those who are interested in kicks. I don't necessarily search them out, but I don't think they're to hard to spot; the majority of them do seem to be quite a bit younger(university-mid 20's). However, I'm sure there are a lot of them who are just looking to make a profit by re-selling.
Sure, Japan will always be tops in terms of sneakers/sneakerheads, but there is defintely a large and growing sneaker culture here.
Again, if there are some people interested, I'll set something up in the next few weeks where we can meet up and grab some drinks. |

Yeah, keep me posted. I'm always down to talk about sneakers. |
