Love Child, Diana Ross and the Supremes.

A song about an illegitimate child ...
Damn, could be apt.

A pretty good Acapella without any instrumental accompaniment.

Heres the Japanese take on Till I Waltz Again With You -- Izumi Yukimura, recorded just shortly afterwards, backed by the Gay Stars no less. She's lovely & this melody is starting to get under my skin.

Now the twist of this thread is telling how old (or young) we are, but I always tell everyone (including Koreans) that age doesn't matter, but personality and character matters and I enjoyed having friends of all ages from 18 to 105 since I was a kid. Here it goes. Some very familiar songs I heard many times over the years.

#1 Songs of 1972
My favorite song is Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now

1. Alone Again (Naturally) - Gilbert O'Sullivan
2. American Pie (Parts 1 & 2) - Don McLean
3. Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me - Mac Davis
4. Ben - Michael Jackson
5. Black and White - Three Dog Night
6. Brandy (You're A Fine Girl) - Looking Glass
7. The Candy Man - Sammy Davis, Jr.
8. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack
9. Heart of Gold - Neil Young
10. A Horse With No Name - America
11. I Am Woman - Helen Reddy
12. I Can See Clearly Now - Johnny Nash
13. I'll Take You There - The Staple Singers
14. Lean on Me - Bill Withers
15. Let's Stay Together - Al Green
16. Me and Mrs. Jones - Billy Paul
17. My Ding-a-Ling - Chuck Berry
18. Oh Girl - The Chi-Lites
19. Papa Was a Rolling Stone - The Temptations
20. Song Sung Blue - Neil Diamond
21. Without You - Nilsson

Papa Was a Rolling Stone - The Temptations

Great song, though the George Michael did a version that wasn't half bad; he mixed the song with Seal's Killer

She must have had a good teacher. Her accent is spot on.

Mmm...It's really atmospheric. Thanks for sharing.

This is the only Japanese track I know. Great strings.

This sounds interesting:
Saturday Night Fish Fry - Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five

Louis Jordan is awesome! Sort of like Cab Calloway but with a smaller ensemble rather than the whole big band.

Songs like Beans and Cornbread are hilarious.
