30,000 won for Scrabble? That's the cheapest I've heard of. I've seen it in the stores in Seoul at over 40,000. Or wait, was it under 30,000 won? Anyway, Monopoly, The Korean-English locally made version can be found at about 20,000 won in Suwon (Home Plus) or Bundang (Carrefour) at least. The English-only version usually sell at over 40,000 won. Saw "Clue" at the Carrefour in Bundang (near Ori station - end of the line), but that game may not be so successful in the classroom. Tried it before with intermediate-high level adult and they didn't like it. Doubt the average kids' class would get into it. I think "Masterpiece" would be a good one in Korea but have never seen it here. An old game called "Careers" might be good too.

But "uno" is no better than regular "poker" cards in my opinion. "Go fish" with regualr cards is good. " Bob, Do you have a seven?" Kids like that game.
