Hotel Intercontinental (near coex):Price 40,000: Food: Everything, Korean, even decent pizza, sushi, sashimi, excellent soup, nice spread, tons of stuff, hagan daz ice cream tubs for dessert, fancy cheese, tons of stuff, a lot to choose from. OVERALL: A little pricey (too pricey) but the best I've seen so far. |
You must be talking about The Grand Intercontinental at that price, because the COEX Intercontinental has a smokin' buffet for 30,000. |

it's in that hotel...they state 32,000 I think on the board outside, but then they have these hidden service charges and hidden fees that bring it to exactly 40,000...kinda like when you buy a 9,000 won drink at the hyatt and 2 of them come to 30,000 won. |

what kinda food is at the SDA? |
They have this great vegetable protien fried in a sweet sauce and also mushrooms fried in another sauce. Like nothing I've had elsewhere and this is what I dream about! Also a nice variety of other organic foods, like a fresh dwenjang with peppers and multigrain bread! They also sell organic groceries there. |

Apparently there is a place at the "Grand intercontinental" that isn't normally a buffet, but it's on the first floor...and get this: Every Friday they have a seafood buffet, complete with LOBSTER, CRAB, and SHRIMP. I'll tell you where I'll be this Friday. |

I went up (above Itaewon) and had a great breakfast for about W20,000
Recommend it - You choose the ingredients and the guy makes the omlettes right there for you!. |

The Westin Chosun has a great buffet, as does the Seoul Millenium Hilton. Both quite pricey. A friend said the Ritz Carlton's buffet is the best in town. Don't know, haven't tried. Only went for drinks at the Ritz. |

Chakraa has several locations, including a new one near the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon. The best Chakraa buffet is near the U.N. village. If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk there from Itaewon or Hangangjin station. Hangangjin is much closer. The easiest way to get there is by cab from Itaewon. Just say "U.N. village". |
