Yep, at my apt, we get it for one hour in the morns and eves; however, city officials say the local resevoir will be DRY in less than a month. Now, I'll be interested to see how a city functions without running water.. I know it's been a low precipitation year, but this is ridiculous!! Methinks the water's being used to make snow for the 3 local ski resorts.. Anyone else out there in different cities having water problems? It seems to be only Taebaek and I think Samcheok with the severe shortages.. But, I may be wrong? |

Wow, that sounds tough. Good luck on your situation there. Hope something works out. |

It started ABRUPTLY about Jan 14th.. All of a sudden there's no water! Went several days then with NO WATER at all, and I had to haul buckets over the ice and snow a couple blocks from some large holding tanks set up for my apt complex...Some people were hauling it in pots and pans! No talk of reducing usage prior to that.. Rather typical I'd say... Last minute deal... funny. |
