Wow, I had no idea there were so many straight up nerds on this forum.

Wait. . . guys teaching ESL in Asia. . .Posting on an internet forum. . .the bloody glove. . . the blood in the bronco! No, it all fits! Very Happy

I actually rarely did any dice-based roleplaying, but I loved Rifts. I have just about every Rifts book ever made (except for issues of The Rifter). Again, I seldom even tried to play it, I just liked to read them. I know that sounds extra dorky, but they were and still are, by far, the most creative, imaginative things I've ever read.

Okay, here's what I'm hearing, aside from all the tangents.

These are the people that really want to play:

rtbarret - don't know location
kafkaontheshore - don't know location
Demonicat - suwon
Goku - don't know location
Otherside - Suwon
Mint - Anyang/Suwon/Itaewon
Rory_Calhoun27 - Anyang
me (rockyourteeth) - Suwon

Not to be selfish, but it looks like Suwon would be a good meeting place. This is 8, that would be a pretty big game.

Same here, although I preferred the D & D Planescape setting. Nothing like a game that lets you punch god in the nose. I only played a little in high school, however, and never pursued it outside of reading the books. Good luck, nerds.

Oh, and to add to the classic D&D based comedy, look for a internet show called Dungeon Majesty. NATURAL 20!!!!!!!

Ok, so it looks like Monday evenings would be the golden time. Anyone want to DM? I'll do it if no one else wants to, but if its me, it will be D&D 3.5 edition, none of that 4e junk

Okay, so far Demonicat and Otherside and Me have confirmed Monday evenings, and we all live in Suwon, so that's perfect.

Other people that want to play, tell us. Demonicat, All I know is v3.5, anyway, so I'd be down with that. You guys should email me so I can have your email addresses.

We probably need at least 2 more people to have a decent group right? I know of a guy in Seoul that wants to play, but then we'd probably have to meet somewhere closer in the middle, so if someone else that wants to play in Suwon is out there, let us know!

I'm in a small group in DAEJEON. We play D&D 3.5, Slaine, Conan and other games. We are looking for players now if anyone is interested. Just PM me.

If it is not too late to join, I'd like to play. I work in Geumjeong, but live in Sincheon. It's kinda far away from where I live, but I guess I could meet from work. [email protected]

I currently run a D&D game on Sunday afternoon, and could use a few extra players. We play around the Jongno area of Seoul. harlowethrombey I used to run a Rifts game for quite some time, If I could find enough willing people I wouldn't mind giving it a shot as well.

okay, first things first, way to go on the nerds only reference to saving throws ryunatkorea. and also no, it's not too late to join this thing we're trying to get together.

secondly, lemme throw down my summary of names again to make things less confusing...

ryunatkorea - geumjeong/sincheon
kafkaontheshore - Jongno (central seoul - games on sundays)
Demonicat - suwon
Otherside - Suwon
Rory_Calhoun27 - Anyang
me (rockyourteeth) - Suwon
[another mystery guy I know of] - central seoul

haven't responded in a while:
rtbarret - don't know location
Goku - don't know location
Mint - Anyang/Suwon/Itaewon

Of those who want to play, it looks like there are these options:
form a game in Seoul, and another in Suwon (don't know if we have enough people)
Or meet in Suwon if those in Seoul are willing to travel a little.
Or meet in Seoul if those in Suwon are willing to travel.
Or meet around the Anyang area as a compromise to us all.

YOUR THOUGHTS!?!?!?!?
