We ask you nicely posters to adhere to the TOS. The overwhelming majority of posters adhere to the TOS. Our team is working on updating the TOS, but it will basically stay the same. Dave's ESL Cafe is a good site for all. Just don't abuse it. I am sure you understand

Here are two problems seen on the CE Forum:

1)Posting way too much of an article. If you've posted 600 words of article, that's definitely too much. Try to post no more than 300-400 words of an article, and the add the URL.

2)There is a problem with abusive language. We simply cannot ignore such things. We can't warn you ad nauseum to restrain your emotions and to follow the TOS. Even if you think a poster has ideas that seem strange from your perspective, do not tell the poster that he is crazy.

You should comment on his or her ideas without insulting him.
If you think someone is a fascist, don't call him or her that, don't go around calling people commies. We won't over this sort of thing before. We do want political diversity on the board, but not at the expense of the TOS.

Here is what the TOS says:


You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed).
