We will clarify this in detail in relation to the locking of the Pat Robertson thread. We don't forbid posts that mention a certain religious figure being in the news. We have had problems with people attacking people's beliefs in an aggressive manner, which lead to flame wars. Give us some days to get back to you on that.

We're not trying to muzzle people over these issues. We want a respectful, mature environment while allowing a relatively free flow of ideas....

Thanks.... This is what the TOS says:

20."Religion focused threads that involve bashing, flaming, trolling and endless bickering are not wanted or permitted here. Such threads will be deleted at the discretion of a Moderator." That means you can post a thread that relates to a news event, but if it degenerates or if the thread title appears to focus on bashing, then we'll take action
