I know I know, this has probably been covered. However, with my school demanding that I go now to Immigration to get my ARC (and also having spent the better part of an hour looking it up on the net), I need to know if I need to get that National Health Check-up first. I know with an E-2 you need to get the check-up before you can apply for your ARC. Is this also true with the E-7 visa? Or, can I just go to Immigration and apply for the card? Thanks in advance. |

check out http://www.hikorea.go.kr/pt/index.html for the information you'll need to get your ARC for the E-7. looking over it, I guess it really isn't clear. Try calling to Immi and get someone to answer it for you there. Or get your employer to call. Actually, I'd do both. I'm currently being yanked around by my school which apparently has never done anything to get a foreign teacher sorted before...even though i knew the last two teachers here. Seriously, it's ridiculous. |

They're "demanding". checking your join date, how long have you been in the country? If you've been here longer than 3 months you're in danger of violating your visa rules. Most visas require you get your ARC before you're here for 3 months. |
