Check the Korea Herald there are always heaps of travel agents advertised in there. I used top and xanadu in the past and had no problems. |

In the past, I have used Apple Travel, located in the USO at Yongsan. Rather, it's at the edge of it, so you don't need to go through any checkpoints to get to it. Can't remember the phone number, and I might make a mistake if I typed it, might be going over the line into advertising for them anyway.
They speak English well, and when I've asked my Korean friends to get comparison prices through the agencies they use, the Apple prices looked better.
If you really need the phone number or subway directions, pm me and I'll dig in my notebooks to find it ...

Here is a good travel agent in Seoul. They are located in the YMCA building just outside Jonggak subway station. I have forgotten which exit you take but if you ring them up they will tell you.

It might not be your cup of tea, but if you know the Korean accent of English well enough, a lot of travel agents know English words, or you can ask simple questions. You could also bring a dictionary.
Of course, if that's too much trouble, go English! |
