Anyone find that the show is too slow?

BB frequently has time wasting scenes. Off the top of my head, Walt and Skylar discussing their story to tell Hank and Marie. That scene was entirely way too long, so much filler. Plenty of other scenes that are similar. Honestly, they could make these 45 minute shows in a solid 35 minutes.

That's my only complaint about it.

Also, pretty much the whole episode where they were chasing a fly round the lab.

Was that standoff scene with the Mexican chemist that spoke English with a British accent really necessary?

Yeah, good show. Just a little skeptical about Gus and his "vomit timing" w/out killing himself. Hmmm, is that even possible?

I like the way the whole cartel was there to drink the liquor though, that was a nice touch. Wipe them all out in one sitting. Nice!

Do they intentionally make the Spanish ludicrously slow/simple? My Spanish is by no means great, as I haven't taken it in five years, but I can follow most of what's being said in Breaking Bad even if I don't read the subs. What do those with stronger skills than my own think?

My biggest complaint is the unnecessary, gratuitous, and demeaning nudity in the show. And by this nudity, I am of course referring to the Bryan Cranston variety.

Yes that's true, but the climax where Jessie swats the fly and celebrates, I thought that was sheer class!!! Very Happy

It also came back around today with Jesse bust all the cartels balls about the lab being too dirty!

Gus also ingested some kind of pill before the Don came to the poolside area. Charcoal pills to counteract the poison perhaps?

And "Fly" was one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. Painstakingly slow, but the nuances in the dialog and the metaphors within are brilliant. Watch it again.
