Once they become the majority you would have to be naive to believe their attitude would not change |

You shouldn't stir up the pot like that man. As far as I know from what I remember him posting, he went to Saudi Arabia and never set foot in China. |

How old were these guys? Honestly, it sounds like some young guys trying to mess with people. Sure, it's more interesting because of the "muslim connection"... but it could have easily been a "hood tax", or a "colour (wearing) rule" that these thugs figured they'd enforce.
Asses will be asses. And they always seem to find new ways of showing that. |

I didn't even bother watching after I clicked on the links and saw the source of the videos. RT is Putin's English-language propaganda vehicle. |

The actions of these few fundies is being condemned by other Muslims: |
Because they disagree with what these young men stand for, or because they're worried that actions like these are alerting infidels to the danger that Islam poses? |

I love what was said there, but I wonder why this kind of thing is called "fundamentalism". Are we saying that forcing your way of life on others is 'fundamental' to the religion in some way?
I guess "authoritarian Islam" isn't as catchy... |

Have you never heard of Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, Hindu fundamentalism, etc.? It's a pretty standardized term. |

True.
Despite my (tolerantly) anti-religious views and general opposition to political correctness, I think that calling authoritarian religious extremism "fundamental" is a poor choice of terms. |
